Dance for Paws is a charity that melds the power of dance and a deep love for animals to create a lasting, meaningful impact on the lives of homeless animals. Through fundraising efforts and proceeds from our events and ticket sales, we support trusted animal rescues, clinics, and no-kill shelters — organizations working tirelessly to save lives, provide essential care, and give homeless animals the chance they deserve. Our mission is to strengthen animal welfare and protection operations, enhance care for animals in need, and reduce the heartbreaking number of animals euthanized each year.
We are passionate about raising awareness of the importance of fostering, adopting, and standing against breed discrimination while educating the public on responsible pet ownership. Spotlighting the invaluable benefits of pet companionship shows how animals make anyone’s dance through life brighter.

amc to the rescue fund
The Emma and Georgina Bloomberg AMC to the Rescue Fund provides subsidized specialty care to rescue animals whose health is an obstacle to their adoption. One of 14 AMC community funds, AMC to the Rescue was created out of a concern for rescue groups who often have limited funds for veterinary treatment beyond general care. In 2023, AMC to the Rescue celebrated its 10th anniversary; over the last decade the fund has partnered with over 160 rescue organizations and provided care valued at $2,050,000 to more than 850 pets.
best friends animal society
Best Friends Animal Society is a leading animal welfare organization working to end the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters and make the country no-kill in 2025. Founded in 1984, Best Friends is a pioneer in the no-kill movement and has helped reduce the number of animals killed in shelters from an estimated 17 million per year to 415,000 last year. Best Friends has operations in New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Salt Lake City, and Northwest Arkansas and runs the nation’s largest no-kill animal sanctuary. Best Friends runs lifesaving programs across the country in partnership with more than 5,000 animal welfare groups and shelters and is working collaboratively with community members nationwide to Save Them All®.

muddy paws rescue
Muddy Paws Rescue is a completely foster-based dog rescue operating in New York City, with a mission of building and supporting a thriving pack of dog-loving humans dedicated to ending unnecessary euthanasia of companion pups. Founded in 2016, Muddy Paws has helped more than 8,000 puppies and dogs find loving homes. Partnering with open-intake shelter partners in New York and across the country - Muddy Paws works with a foster network of more than 2,000 homes, and practices a conversation-based, open adoption model to save more than 1,000 lives each year. Muddy Paws operates out of their Hell’s Kitchen-based Headquarters - a space that centers and strengthens their #MuddyPawsPack community and lifesaving efforts.
